And the winner is- Pretty good stab! I paid $160 at a show. The 66 grade isnt listed in the grey sheet (which CAN work out in the buyers favor) I basically upgraded the example in my toned type set.
I'll open it up to anyone. I have a few at PCGS right now waiting for TrueViews that would be perfect but until those come through I got nothing
Just for good measure, i wanna share this 52S Franklin being offered on the bay!! https://m.ebay.com/itm/1952-S-Frank...446213&hash=item3f94aabeea:g:7g0AAOSw32lYo5zB Ill take mine and keep the $200 change anyday. The prices for these are just stupid
7 Give this one a shot ....something a little different. 1838 half dime Anacs Au 53 small stars variety not attributed on slab, Au 50 retails $325. MS 60 $600.
Just priced my 54 s Franklin in 66 toned again the price guide needle jumps all over the place...paying $12 for it plus grading I'm satisfied also....its a keeper and if sold anything over $50 is pure profit.

**To correct my fat fingers it is an 1839 not a 38....however 1837 the transitional year had 3 different designs then more changes in both 38 and 39 as to stars and other devices. Between the changes ,and varities these are so under ,appreciated and priced in better grades. @IBetASilverDollar takes the round as he either remembers my post or just knows me way to well....everyone else was way out of the park... With" Super Dave" standing behind me...I paid $200 @ the Gettysburg show last Fall. The image doesn't do justice.... and as a half dime collector, I could not ask for a better show find or price paid. @IBetASilverDollar you'r up again...
