Sorry guys, didn't mean to ruffle feathers. It was in an ICG MS67FB holder as well, I just changed plastic.
I'm gonna call it, this is within $5. I paid $32.72 for it. If you include the grading fee for PCGS it would be $57.72 (Maybe we could give 1/2 point to @Johndoe2000$ for being close with the re-grade. Updated Points Table should be: ddddd - 15.01 Points baseball21 - 13.01 Points Beefer518 - 11.01 Points jwitten - 11.01 Points ron_c - 10.01 Points Lehigh96 - 8.01 Points heavycam.monstervam - 7.51 Points brg5658 - 7.01 Points ddoomm1 - 6.01 Points IBetASilverDollar - 6.01 Points Johndoe2000$ - 5.51 Points jtlee321 - 5.02 Points KSorbo - 5.01 Points Santinidollar - 5.01 Points C-B-D - 4.01 Points Bman33 - 4.01 Points Night*Hawk - 2.51 Points Pickin and Grinin - 2.01 Points Volante - 1.01 Points moneycostingmemoney - 1.01 Points kSigSteve - 1.01 Points Cascade - 1.01 Points Duke Kavanaugh - 1.01 Points bsowa1029 - 1.01 Points LuxUnit - 0.01 Points @jwitten you're next...
Only 3 hours to make guesses on that last one? Yes jwitten was close, but someone could have easily guessed $40 and been closer. Not that I was going to, but still...
Man, that was a bit of a SNAFU.. That certainly would have swayed my guess a bit from what I had guessed, based on a PCGS MS-67FB with that kind of color.
Sometimes a curve ball is needed to keep things interesting...I'll give it to @jwitten ...you're up... For future posts, let's identify the original state of the coin (i.e. raw, ICG, etc) or say how much was it for raw+grading.
Having frequented the PCGS forums over the past few years, I actually know what this means (I think)! By the way @RickO is actually registered here, but I'm sure he wouldn't even be caught looking at the tarnish thread
Lol his comments would probably be entertaining though I don’t think he’d win any guessing melt for damaged coins
OK, another curve ball. No clue what these normally go for. NGC shows a value of $250 in VF20, and $400 in XF40. No clue if that's accurate or what. What did I pay?
