The $64,000 Question is > what two dates is it that you need to complete your set ??
I'll keep my eyes open for you:greedy::greedy::troll:

Ya, that's probably not smart of me to tell everyone, haha. Good thing I check multiple times a day for them :) One is the 1911-D though, and I already have 2 that are untoned. I think I will probably just leave the 1911-D untoned, to have a normal looking coin in my set.

Telling the whole message board, i believe would be a mistake. Im sort of curious to see what you paid for this one. I always assumed you didnt get a great deal of ebay competition above and beyond retail value for these. We shall see :peeking:

Some of them I've gotten decent deals, some I paid moon money. I've passed on a few that I thought were just too high, especially if I already had that date. This was a buy it now, so he set his price. If I didn't need the date, I would have let it sit and seen if the price would eventually drop. I DID wait on it long enough to get a 20% off coupon though.

All my 20% off coupons are good for crap I have no interest in. How did you get one that worked for that?

Although, I did get a decent error in my favor on eBay Bucks recently. I won't say what it was, only that it equated out to 21% on a single purchase. ;)

It was for the collectible category. I called up the seller, and asked if he could add the coin to a collectible category, which technically, it is... Maxed out at $50 off though, but that was still pretty nice. Ebay bucks helped with the rest :)

OK, I will let yall decide. Do I count the price with the $50 I got off or not? I will count the ebay bucks I applied, but I am thinking my free $50 off should factor in.

OK, brain fart. The $50 coupon was towards another toner that is still not here yet. Oops. That can be the next one I post.

    I paid $565. Here's hoping it grades!

Yay!! I finally broke out of the 4 point stall.

So I have one on the way here that is due to arrive on Saturday. I'm hoping it's as amazing as I think it is, but in the mean time, I have this Morgan I bought this last weekend. I know some of you have already seen it in other posts, but I have not revealed what I paid for it. There is one member here who know's what I paid, but they have not been participating in the thread much. So @Cascade won't be able to guess on this one. :)

This is a common date 1882-S Morgan in NGC MS-64 that averages around $65.00. So what did I pay for this one?

Strangely I'm not a fan of this thread. You all know I'm a toner guy but premiums are subjective which makes this thread too much of a crapshoot guessing game for my tastes. Seems you all have been having fun with it though. I know what I can buy toners for and still make money, always do. But to guess what others paid for theirs at a retail level just doesn't appeal to me. I don't buy retail :p

Yea well, you must shop at venues that have a huge supply and little demand for such coins. Round these parts, the premium being asked has gotten ridiculous, even meh toning on meh coins is just laughable sometimes
