That's a purdy coin you got there. Hmm... 66+, beautiful, even toning... I'll say you stole it at $400
Oh I know!! I watch the show Drugs Inc. on NatGeo. I just don't understand the desire to put that kind of stuff in your body to get high, unbelievable!!
I know @IBetASilverDollar has similar tastes as me and one nice thing is this kind of toning does not draw a huge premium. I'm going to guess $380.00, that's where I would be at on it. I got to see it in hand and it's just a beautiful coin!! Really nice flashy semi-PL surfaces both obverse and reverse. The color on the reverse really pops!
I am doing by best to keep up with you @IBetASilverDollar Points Table IBetASilverDollar - 3 Points ddddd - 3 Points Beefer518 - 1 Point baseball21 - 1 Point brg5658 - 1 Point Volante - 1 Point
I know, it's kinda like a Guess the VAM thread where @Cascade, @SuperDave, @messydesk and @Dave Waterstraat would pass the honors around like a game of hot potato.
Thanks so much, wasn't expecting that being I crashed the thread earlier Here is my newest purchase with seller's photos: I'm calling this guy "Smoky the Bear". PCGS price guide is $325 for a straight (no plus) 66, Greysheet is $285. Run of the mill non-CAC white 66's are running in the mid to high 200's.
First of all, that is one of my favorite commemorative half dollars! The picture from Heritage does not seem to show off the color, so I would think that might have caused this to sell for a lower price. The CAC is a plus and commems with color tend to do well (as opposed to commems in general). I'm going with $295
Nice coin don't think I've seen this commem before really like both the obv and rev designs. I'm going to guess $360.
I am in at 340$. Side note, my uncle would have been on the bridge in 89' but decided to take a late job. Perty! coin @KSorbo
I am completely out of my element here. To me, it's kind of like trying to objectively quantify insanity; simply don't compute.
