It was at a local place where vendors rent a booth. It was marked $30 and I thought it was a good deal, but wanted to be sure so I checked at home and went back today. Asked if there was any wiggle room and the lady said she could take off 10%. They did charge sales tax, but I didn't want to argue about it as I was already getting a good deal.

  3. Wow...that is a great deal on that set. How does the nickel look? TC

Don't think it would make 70 as there is a tiny speck (seen with 16X loupe) missing from the angle where bottom of neck meets field. Surely a 69 though. Golden bullseye toning on Rev. with center white no tone on obv. I flipped it in the package like the other one trying for both sides toned the same.

I just bought one, paid $68 so not a great deal but I am glad to have it..

My nickel is also toned on the back but still its nice.

I also got a star note set. Given to me in like 1998

Last time I looked it seems like the sets with a star note brought a few more dollars on ebay than the sets without. I used to have all the coin and currency sets - this is the only one I kept. I just liked it.
