Mainly because of the reverse though....

I don’t believe it. Only way is improper storage I think it’s had some help. As to the peace. I love it. I think I’d have a hard time getting it slabbed but I think it has a reasonable chance of being ma at least

Just to be sure @Mainebill , your vote on the Franklin is the AT/QC side (as opposed to the MA/NT side)?

What is the saturation level of those photos? I abstain on the grounds that I don’t have photos that accurately represent the actual appearance of the coin. Does NGC have a photo of this coin?

Here is a worse photo from 2005. No other photos are available. It was sold by Superior Galleries.

The images look juiced to me. If it looks anything close to that in hand, then I vote AT.

The colors are really saturated. I played around with Saturation and getting rid of the showdows in Photoshop and the Obverse seem a little dull and AT, however the Reverse shows a lot of luster and it appears to be NT.

I don't know without seeing it in hand, so when in doubt, my vote is QC.

TruViews aren't the most accurate representation of the coin.

If that is what it looks like, then AT.

AT but doesn't it really matter on a circulated coin from the 1980s?

I'd say yes. Consistency and accuracy is valuable at any grade or price level.
