I still remember the news report about the poor schlep in Kansas who got fed up with having his house broken into over and over again. So, he rigged up a booby trap inside his house with a shotgun, and when a burglar got shot, the homeowner went to jail. Chris
My buddy has a similiar design as the OP, his is a tall metal tool cabinet with wingnuts inside. Undo the wingnuts and the whole cabinet swings open like a door on a hinge. It leads under his basement stairs. Very deceptive, and, he doesn't know I know about it. His GF showed me, he doesn't keep coins in there either ( I'll leave that up to your imagination)
I've seen a wall safe behind a decoy sliding panel. Looks like an ordinary display shelf. The panel locked into place and there is some kind of a trick to getting it to slide. I'll figure it out one day. Another cool thing I've seen is illusion walls. Very simply designed and hard to see until you get right up to it. Roughly looks like this: _____________________________ ______________ --->___________________
You buddy already screwed himself! He told his girlfriend. Women can't keep secrets. She told you, didn't she? Your friend better never get caught cheating on her! Chris
Lol obviously his 'friend' should be the one upset. Glad I'm rid of 'friends' like HCMV if he is implying what I think he he.
Hey, she's the one who couldn't resist from showing it to somebody. I didn't ask for it, she just showed me real quick, then buttoned it all back up. ....
Welcome to Maine. Where burglars are and can be shot! And will be in my house. My girlfriend is also a very good marksman
Well, NY has more people than moose, so it only goes to reason.... People can be shot in NY too, but the coddling nanny state, which is run mostly by criminals by the way, just has to protect their own. Safety comes first, and if ya can't be safe breaking into someone else's home, where the hell can ya?
Maine like Texas where my girlfriend is from has a law stating that you are allowed to shoot intruders that break into your house. Should be that way everywhere in my opinion
I believe it's called the: make my day law.... Or to quote Clint Eastwood some more it could be called the: You Feelin Lucky Law Or the: Dyin ain't no way to make a livin law And I wholeheartedly agree, this law should exist in all 50 states
I'm not saying I wouldn't have played along myself, just that if he figures it out, watch out man! I had a 'friend' try to weasel in. Lets just say that I owe him a good beating if he ever gets out of jail.
Did ypu guys hear about this that happened a few days ago. A guy in Denver was robbed by 2 guys at his home that answered a Craigslist ad. He was tied up and as they were leaving he escaped and as they were driving away he shoots one dead. The DA is considering filling charges as he left his house and fired in pursuit... good luck getting a jury to convict! They just caught the second (non dead) robber today.
