Just take your time. Focus on one type of coin and learn what you can from that. It is exciting to get your hands in there and try to get as much as you can but from what you have said, it sounds like you know you have made a couple mistakes. No big deal as long as you learn from them!

Well as I have been told many times in my life any thing that is good is worth fighting for, so if you have a love for this hobby hang in there it will become easy to identify.

But it is a slow and steady process and time-consuming but in a short period of time you will be able to come on here and give your opinions on other people's coins.IMHO

Thanks Dave, but I feel that my opinion would be of little value and of no interest to anyone. Thanks

Sure Bambam just a couple of mistakes..like last year I threw a scratch off 200,000.00 plus dollar Pa lottery ticket in the trash because I did not read ALL of the information....TRUE STORY
To make it worse NO-ONE believed me...but maybe that is not a bad thing????
Not the only dumb thing I have done.

That 1921 Morgan is in really nice shape, at least from what I can tell.

The 1922 Peace dollar appears to have a relatively stronger strike than average.

I'm not 100% sure what your goal is though.

I had no real intended goal other than to state that I am far from a collector and have only purchased 8 coins in my lifetime and they are the eight silver dollars in that thread.
But I do enjoy looking at coins and reading information on cointalk.
My introduction to coin collecting came around 7 years ago when my father in-law passed away and left me with his vast collection.
I did not and do not want to project a image that I am something that I am not.
Thank you for your information on the two coins, I had no idea that they were anything other than ordinary.
