I've thrown him by the wayside. It's not so much his descriptions as it is his asking prices, which in my opinion, slyly suggests that these are rare and valuable. All of his offerings are junk. Of course he can ask anything he wants. It would just be a shame if the unknowing bought something at these prices that bothers me.
There are direct lies and indirect lies, but both are intended to be deceptive. A direct lie is to say this coin is characterized as a Mint error. An indirect lie is to intentionally lead a person into thinking it is an error without saying so word for word. That is what this person does, and it is unethical. Clearly he offers no refunds and no returns because when someone stupid buys this for anything over 25 cents, they at some point will bring it to someone who does know what they're doing and tell them they got scammed. This seller is a complete, total, and utter scumbag
100% agree. I reported his wheat cent sincerity it actually says it has errors in the item description. All that would let me, I wrote a negative item review, calling it out as deceitful. Not much more to be done. If anyone here is following it, please unfollow it. Following brings more attention to the item, increasing the likelihood some poor idiot will buy it.
Oh lord.... if that doesn't say it all. I have to ask though: what is this review you mentioned earlier? I'm not aware of any specific reviews for individual coins offered by a specific seller, but have seen the generic ones.
Thanks, Tommy. It certainly was a classy response... This is what I was referring to.... You guys are certainly more familiar with eBay coin listings than I am, but as mentioned earlier I don't recall any seller-specific product reviews and am only hoping for clarification.
Some products can be reviewed and if you scroll down, there’s a spot where you can review the product itself. You’re supposed to only talk about the product. I think it’s intended for when people sell multiple items in one listing, kind of the way you review products on amazon. I honestly don’t know if you need to be a buyer to leave feedback, but I submitted one anyway, to see if it would go through. It says it’s being reviewed. The quarter in the original post allows for a product review, you can click on it and look for it. Not all products have this and I don’t know what determines if it does or doesn’t. I’m just hoping they let the review go through and it saves someone lots of money.
Maybe his listings, he has several, on eBay at ridiculous prices should be reported to PCGS. He is using PCGS to, as the seller puts it, "authenticated damage". PCGS should be returning the damaged coins in a body bag. What amazes me is the 100% seller feedback rating. Almost makes me want to Damage some coins, submit for PCGS authentication and seller at lower prices than his to add to my retirement income. EDIT: I said "almost makes me want." My concensquence won't allow me. This seller is a sick individual with no morals.
They used to do that, and everyone whined because "They paid for grading and they didn't get it. They just sent my coin back and didn't even put it is a slab." So they finally stated putting damaged coins in slabs, and people are whining because people are trying to sell damaged coins as something special because they are in a slab.
