Went to a national bank and asked to get small change. The request was refused, he was directed to go buy some in the bazaar.</p><p><br /></p><p>Of course, as members in front line businesses will know, businesses have to buy their small change from the banks even here in the UK, (its not given out at par except in small amounts as a favour to personal clients).
