    If you put these bi-metallic £1 in a freezer for a while, you can quite easily knock out the centre. This has led to a deluge of fake errors on ebay in which part is 'clipped,' etc.

    I've gotten just the center pieces by themselves in large lots of world coins, so they do "Pop" out.
