If you read their sales text, you will see that the 100g is for calibration but the 10g is only for 'verification'. They state clearly:</p><ul> <li>One 10 gram standard weight. Verifying your scale with a different weight is always recommended after calibration.</li> </ul><p>I still weigh and record ny new coins to the .01g number but I am not a believer in that last digit. I do wonder if we bought 100 of these scales with calibration weights and weighed all the weights just how much variation we would find.
