I did the same thing!! But I think the George Washington portrait is a picture and the lower one is an actual dollar bill. I'm sure I'm wrong though. LOL
That would be devious! It seemed a little large to be the dollar bill but I couldn't help myself... darn, now I'm thinking you're right... haha
I mean't that I was the first one to post a guess on the thread (so I thought at the time). Though I just noticed I was beat by a few minutes
I did an overly of the note and the contest image in Photoshop, it is the same vignette of Washington, but if it were the note, the oval of the frame on the $20 Gold Certificate would be showing as it's cropped closer. So it's not a $20 note, though the same vignette.
If only I had the old $1 or the $20 to compare... I actually zoomed my photo to the actual size of the coins and then grabbed one of each denomination and held them up to try to determine some of the less obvious coins.
Now I get it, I sat and waited for the internet to tell me it was new years on EST and then clicked post reply!
I've never gotten any of the guess the number of ..... in the jar games correct. No matter how much science I threw at it. LOL
I had my doubts about the photo but didn't have a bill to compare and went with my gut that no one in their right mind would pour coins over a $20 gold note and went with the $1
