Woot! Woot! The Ace is high! Mad Paddycakes done all the rest of us in! Such cunning and clever coin concoctions did trip we contestants and revelers of this new year up with tricky-tricks and eye-llusions confounding we till madness seeped and gladness for trying these five-days and folly for floundering spilled forth from we all. Thank ye Paddy! We raise a proverbial glass to you, your contest and the generous offering awarded one lucky player.

 

I thought that might be a blank planchet, then just figured it was an old, worn penny. (depending on the year, it may not have been made by the US Govt, but by a third party, btw)

As I hypothesized, Washington WAS an image on a publication, but as I could not locate a book with that image on the cover, I went with the crowd and counted it as a dollar.
