Hello Christian, welcome to the club! I am also German, but collect all periods in history. Here are some of my Germany coins....
Thanks! German States account for almost twenty percent of total Worldwide gold in Friedberg's book. The Imperial issues are esp. beautifull, at the time when most of these City States/ Duchies/ Countships were under the rule of the Holy Roman Emperor....
my camera is not the best. the proof quality but you can see very well. The first 3 coins are from the Royal Mint in london. The 1000 kronur Coin "Leifur Eriksson" was made by the US Mint. All coins have an excellent quality. The capsules are unknown to me. The capsule of the coin from 1986 has a strong overhanging edge . Knows someone who produces these capsules ? In Germany I could not find a manufacturer that offers something similar regards Christian
Cool. Thank you. Does anyone know if there are any of the Icelandic commemorative coins in silver and gold known counterfeits ? On the Internet I did not find anything. I think the token from 1930 are particularly forgery endangered. I ordered a set of 1000 coins from Kronur 1994th Let's see what comes out . I'm pretty excited . Have yet a queasy feeling . Iformiere you anyway.
MY new. Comes today. Looks good. The First 3 presidents of the young republic. the order was more questionable but..... now they are here. Regards christian
Ah, brought back home so to say. (Guess you know that those pieces were minted in Muldenhütten.) Not that it matters much but from what I have read, the Icelandic government never declared those to be legal tender. Christian
Ok the 5 Kronur Token See many Black stains. But this is not Patina. Is this corrosion? It is dangerous for the silvercoin? Regards
