    The mint can't just "send them out", the Federal Reserve has to request them and they still have close to 2 billion of the 2000 - 2011 coins in storage. They won't request any until the supply they have on hand gets low. At the rate of current drawdown they have well over a 20 year supply before they will need more..

    It's been said so many times on Coin Talk; people will use the dollar coins after the Gov't. stops printing One Dollar bills.
