Read it all, and enjoy.... hahaha http://www.ebay.com/itm/1910-US-Gol...sh=item21105a5ac3:g:ujAAAOSw7ehXSuYX#viTabs_0
Too funny. Looks like someone got spanked by ebay and they won't go to their room without taking back. I'm so discussded right now
And by the TPG's. Although the rant was a little extreme, I do symphatize with them in that TPG's are more lenient with dealers that shoot them a lot of business (or rich folks with very rare coins). It's business 101 I suppose and probably not illegal technically (although probably unethical), but then folks, like this fellow ranting on eBay, have every right to express their dissatisfaction with TPG's greed and lack of fairness as a result thereof.
Why are we sympathizing and assuming someone who is describes that coin as "I detect no wear at all" knows how to grade? Looks to me like the TPGs probably just gave it the grade it deserves and he didn't like that it significantly held back the value from uncirculated ones
When I read the title of this I thought this was gonna be some kind of absurdly stupid item being sold on ebay, like Britney Spears' face on a piece of toast or something to that extent.
A bag of air from Micheal Jackson's last consert I believe sold for like $50k years ago. Another bag of air from kobe Bryant's last game most recently got up to $25k before ebay killed it. We're literally talking just a gallon ziplock puffed up.
Get out of here! (just kidding!) REALLY??????????????????? I think I just found a bag of water from the Red Sea when Moses parted it! Plus I think I got some of his hair!
Well yea, probably not the best place to spout off about TPG's and eBay, but if this guy/lady doesn't care about getting banned or doesn't really need the money from their coin sales or doesn't care about looking professional then it's not such a bad place for them to go off. Well my sympathy goes to the little guy who doesn't get the grades as consistently as the big dealers who send the grading companies a lot of business. I wasn't necessarily symphatizing with that seller or their situation with that coin.
