The most ridiculous eBay listing ever?

This guy is selling river rocks that he found in Pennsylvania and is claiming that they are ancient coins-- "These coins originate from treasure found in the Susquehanna river. Pribably left by roman soldiers or pirates. various denominations, historical periods, and countries/regions of manufacture."








and a rock with an elaborate description--

Dang… Here. Been struggling for days to come up with the correct attribution for these old folles….. And all the time the only thing I needed was a pile of rocks!

 

I detect some smoothing for sure....

 

Looks it's been removed - I only see a few comic books from this seller now.

I occasionally see crazy posts like this on EBay for stuff like pennies and dollar bills being offered for $2500 or so. I've wondered if this is money laundering or some other criminal type of thing?

 

But the descriptions seem so precise!
