My comment above was poorly written and I wish I could rewrite it - the post expressed some frustration at high starting prices, and general lack of affordable coins, for me anyway. One of the reasons I like sestertii was because you could find examples that could be substantially improved with some skillful cleaning - sometimes a little oil can greatly improve a bronze coin - but it does darken the patina so you need to be careful. Maybe one every three months it used to be possible to find, now maybe once a year, if that, But I wish it was possible to make edits because what I wanted to express is poorly said, but I understand why that doesn't work.

Some months back i purchased an example of the Geta sestertius with the VOTA PUBLICA reverse - I posted it because of the tooled reverse -the price reflected the tooling but I could not have afforded to purchase it otherwise and it was still nice - I posted it on this site. Yours is beautiful
