[QUOTE="bsupercharged, post: 2180549, member: 74969"]Well this will be interesting. I actually bought a few of these rolls :angelic: Should get them in very very soon. I looked at the jhonecash website and compared the colors and believed it all looked fine. The toning color progression looks correct. There hasn't been just "one" person who won all of the auctions, some have won more than one - but then again so did I. So there are a few things that will be interesting to find out. 1) Are there any rare dates in the rolls, or all common? 2) Are the end coins rare dates? 3) Is the toning natural, or AT? Besides that, the definition of "original" is very loose. Original could mean from mint, from bank, or from the original owner - or anything really. "Unopened" is hard to argue with, because the paper roll itself could have had the coins inserted and never been opened again, thus it is "unopened" however it's not unsearched. Then again, whoever placed the coins into the rolls must have looked at them or knew what they were putting in, unless they truly had no clue? The auction states they opened some of the rolls and didn't find anything older than 1904. None of the feedback gives specifics on rarities either. I believe the only person, or people, who truly know what are in these rolls, is the eBay seller and the "retired banker" who they were bought from (doesn't state if they were dead or alive when purchased). I am new on this forum, but if you guys promise not to judge me, I'll video tape the unraveling of these rolls I bought. Then everyone can see what they really contain. If I'm close to breaking even in terms of value, I'll send the end coins in (and any of potential value) to PCGS to have them graded. Again though, I'm not sure what is going to happen and I just plead with you to not flame me or make me feel like an idiot... my wife will surely do a good enough job of that if this turns out to be a massive bust.
