I have a few but I know you only do one at a time so first up is this 1959 Lincoln cent. It was pulled from a roll with many others, Robec has a few in his collection which were sent in and graded 66 and above I believe. Mine is raw as I tend to keep all my coins raw.
I'll go with 4.8 like @Morgandude11 copper toners aren't my specialty. Some that people really adore don't elicit the same emotion from me. This example I do find attractive and that's why my score is fairly high.
Agree completely. I love the toned proof Jeffersons with wild colors. Since I know that they were a by-product of packaging, they are kind of like modern art to me. Not everybody likes them, and I understand. Going to post the Blue one I got from you when it is my turn.
Half kidding. Morgans are know for being a major source of spectacular toned coins, but as we have seen, any coin has the possibility of being a monster toner. I still think a couple of your foreign toners, and Paul’s monster Jefferson were way underrated by the group here.
Definitely a 5 for me on the cent. If this exact toning were on a Morgan it would be an easy 5 and worthy of a star and everybody would be like oh em gee it’s such a monster. I believe this one easily earns the 5.
From what I have noticed from reading all the comments that have been made, some of you have made emotional judgments after being in a debate over a coin. It tends to happen when you talk amongst friends or colleagues. I hope not to offend anyone with my assessment.
It definitely happens and is natural. Don't worry about your assessment. Some might disagree but we won't kick you out of our exclusive club.
Nah, don’t take it seriously. Coin collecting is a passionate hobby by its very nature. People are protective of the coins that they like. It is like the old Ford-Chevy disputes that went on for decades.
Coin is a 5. Pretty. I love my Ford. Best thing about it they didn’t make the engine lol. Put an international turbo diesel in a Ford you have a huge winner
I had a Ford Edge SUV, but it kept breaking down. I traded it in for a 100% American -Made in Lafayette, Indiana Toyota RAV4, and it is perfect. Think I want to raise my rating of the Cent to 4.7. It is really pretty.
