Me Too! Please add me as well. These catalogs are amazing and the things to to be learned! Thanks, Doug
Now what could Doug possibly have to say that's so captivating it takes up five pages of replies? I just had to find out. I'm in, but I have a condition. If I get drawn, I want the catalogs to be auctioned off and the proceeds to go to "Roll-searchers Anonymous" (or some other such similar charitable-type organization) to help raise awareness of and treat sufferers of this insidious and hopelessly misunderstood addiction that's been gripping these forums since this recovering addict can remember. Maybe a little dedication plaque in my honor, too, if that’s not too much to ask...
what worries me is they dont send cataloguesa to poor collectors like me although i was planning to bid on this auction it might never happen mind you but i was planning
Of course if you ever did bid in one of their auctions - they WOULD send you catalogs. And of course you always do something like buying a subscription too
I'm in. The Lot 1205 United States. Dollar, 1802. NGC graded MS-63 is awsome, but not financially in my means. Lot 1206 United States. Trade Dollar, 1876. NGC graded MS-64 May be in my means. Do they accept pay pal and credit cards or certified cashiers checks?
i did bid on their coins but never got a catalogue kind of like baldwins. i never have that kind of complaint with heritage and the currency dealers
Then perhaps you actually need to win one, or buy a subscription like I suggested. I have subscriptions with all of the major auction houses and never fail to get all of the catalogs.
i cant bear to spend money to get a subscription i am already int he dog house so i am going to go win one instead once they know you are capable of winning they send you catalogs i guess
That's like saying you can't afford to buy books because you need the money for coins. Well, you can learn more about coins from catalogs than you can many books. In fact coin catalogs are where most authors get their information so they can write the books. The truth of the matter is - you can't afford NOT to have catalogs. Paying customers get catalogs - they either pay by buying coins or they buy subscriptions. But either way they get them.
