The Wade Awakes were a political club that held huge torch lit parades and rallies for Lincoln in northern cities. This piece is quite scarce. Here the phrase is used on an 1864 Campaign medalet. </p><p><br /></p><p>In almost all cases you can distinguish an 1860 campaign piece from an 1864 item.
