[QUOTE="Kyra, post: 31150, member: 1881"]Ok- finally! Here's the much anticipated ( ) list of the goodies I've found while working at the bank. Let me just preface this list by saying that if I do find anything that's valuable and I know who brought it in I always ask the owner if they want it back. Most of what I've found is junk silver, but there's been some pretty good stuff too. This is by no means a complete list- that'd take days to type! Ok- here goes...

Cents: It's not much of an exaggeration to say that I've found thousands of wheat cents. I've found as much as $18 dollars worth in one day. I have found pretty much a complete date-and-mintmark set of Lincolns, minus only the 1909-S, 1909-SVDB, 1914-D, 1922 Plain, and the 1931-S. I do have a 1891 Indian Head cent and a 1972 DDO. It's not one of the more spectactular ones, you need a magnifying glass to see the doubling, but it's there. One of my co-workers found a beat up 1898 Flying Eagle cent.

One dateless, nearly worn slick 2-cent piece!

A handful of Buffalo nickels, one with a partial date and two with actual readable dates.

I'm only missing the 1942-D for a date-and-mintmark set of wartime Jefferson nickels. For some reason the D's are few and far between. The 1943's I have outnumber the rest of the dates 2-1, but no 3/2's...

Four Mercury dimes, and a nearly complete date set of silver Roosevelt dimes. I'm only missing a 1949 and a 1955. I also once found a Seated Liberty dime that I returned to its owner. The guy said "I've been looking for that- it's my golf marker!"

I have half a date set of silver Washington quarters, missing most of the early dates.
