Just a few days now till the LP4 release, any new info regarding updates on time/place?
I'll make a few rounds and hit the mint, union station kiosk and the release location as well... grab some for everyone!

I have 1 each of the 2009 Lincons and think the 4th design might be my favorite.I wonder when (or if) I will see one in Canada circulation? I like the LP3 and the LP4 the best.

I have 20 circulation rolls (P & D) or so of each design for 2K9 so far (only 4 sets of each from the mint:crying:).
LP4 is really growing on me now.

If it does turn out to be a low mintage, WHICH IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY, I'll bust open a roll for those on CT that are out of the DC vicinity and mail them out.

Maybe I'm putting the coin before the die since I haven't even gotten the pennys yet!!!

Anyhow acodym I'll trade you straight up for Canadian since I don't see them very often here...

Didn't we have a vote as to which design they would use a while back?

    And which one won?

The favorite will probably be the LP13 (shield design) but will find out next week :D

I personally prefer the LP17 design (eagle with the arrows) .

You know something I thought about was the fact that the LP4 shows the Capitol building being re built. If you think about this then a continuation would be to show the capitol building fully rebuilt for 2010 design. I wouldnt be shocked if its the capitol building in full glory.

That was how the Capitol Building looked when Abe was in office. It wasn't finished yet.

The 3 locations addressed will be 1) Ulysses S. Grant Memorial ,West side of U. S. Capitol, 2) U. S. Mints outlet at Union Station, 50 Massachusetts Ave. N. E., 3) 1st. Floor of U. S. Mint headquarters, 801 Ninth Ave. N. W. There will be a Min. of 2 rolls & a Max. of 6 rolls from the Philadelphia Mint. There will be a charge of $ 4.95 per roll & just kidding , face value . Of course hit all 3 locations & get Min of 6 rolls & Max.of 18 rolls , such a deal , I wonder how many errors will be found ;) & last but not least if you live on the west coast $ 8.95 for 2 rolls :crying: from the Mint !

yeah I screwed that one up. I really think the finished capitol building makes the most sense if you are looking at carry over from the lp-4 design. I personally like the shield design myself.
