Rickie you have some nice notes there for sure. I just dont understand why you feel you need to post them all here. Do you think this gives you some sort of power? I think the main reason you get picked on is because you need to stroke your ego so much.
Brian339: No..that is not the case.... I was accused of being a "phoney", a liar and "garbage"... These were posted as a means to validate my ownership of the notes. You may see it otherwise, you may react differently than I, it's not your call at all. Power you say? No, I do not need any power, nor do I think it provides me with any, that was not the objective! Rickie with all the support I see you have here you should not give it another thought. Your not a phoney or a liar. You have a nice collection of paper money. Keep it growing.....
Brian339: Thank you. My main reason for being here started out as being a coin collector. I love coins, still do. There are some fine collectors here both coins and paper money. I enjoy their company and like sharing in their collections as well. We all learn from each other and this is why the Security Engravers Group was created.. for all of to learn more about why and what we collect. As you are well aware, many collectors here have some Great Collections... Many of them I have a deep respect for. There are also many here that know more than I will ever know and I appreciate their knowledge and support for all of who collect. I hope this sum's it up.... I am basically just like you or any other collector here. Regards, Rick
Look at the first note he posted in this thread. At the bottom center there is a picture of an eagle with his wings up in the air. Well turn your computer screen upside down or turn your head upside down. You will see that it now looks like a donkey.
Duke: You are 100% correct.. I just cropped out the image so here it is kinda small but I would have to rescan the note again.. Again a little larger Hope this helps?? RB
Rickie - These are all beautiful notes. I'm in awe. I'd love to start collecting notes but just don't know where to start... I just picked up a copy of Gene Hessler's Comprehensive Catalog of U.S. PAPER MONEY [1977] and hope to get some ideas there. Thanks for taking the time to share these notes! Doug - Semper Fi Silver!
Rickie,no need to apologize ,if it wasn't you he would have targeted someone else with a beautiful collection that he envies ,so keep on posting those note we all enjoy seeing. What is the thread (link) on CU that Arizona Jack posted his thread "Coin Talk Under Attack ?"
Stunning pieces there RickieB as always! Its been a pleasure watching your collection grow, keep up the good work!
My thanks again to those who repiled. Blue Seal Series 1914 Fed reserve Notes are always on the list...this one just came in a few days ago and I wanted to keep them all in the same thread. I have posted this earlier in a different thread so please forgive the double post. Regards, RickieB
You certainly have an awesome collection there! It must be something to look at in person at leisure, able to see appreciate them all like that. :thumb:

Duke,I heard he had a spider press in the back yard, but the neighbors were getting suspicious so he had to move the whole operation to the basement.
