That was my case at the University where I originally majored in the Classics. Our final exam, the only grade for this course, was that we would be given a passage from a famous author to translate. The few days before the exam I decide to do some practice translation and since I loved studying history more than plays or philosophy I decided to read some Xenophon and chose the portion that dealt with the Greeks catching sight of the sea, Thalatta!
