No worries USS656... I will put my nickel carving aside for now and I'll get to work on wrapping this up!!

 

I will say this. A lot of others want to have contests and giveaways but won't because this one is ongoing. Normally only one contest is offered at a time and they last about a week thru ten days at the most. Maybe you could give us an idea when it will end.

Ok the final challenge is here at last....

I will be posting a series of 10 riddles.... Each Riddle is worth 10 bonus points to anyone, (will award multiple winners) if you correctly solve it and PM me the answer. One guess/answer per riddle. First person to reach or exceed 100 points obviously wins the gold coin... I will be posting the riddles over the next couple hours.

The first riddle:

An old man wanted to leave all of his money to one of his three sons, but he didn't know which one he should give it to. He gave each of them a few coins and told them to buy something that would be able to fill their living room. The first man bought straw, but there was not enough to fill the room. The second bought some sticks, but they still did not fill the room. The third man bought two things that filled the room, so he obtained his father's fortune. What were the two things that the man bought?

Thank you to Dak for his generosity! If you can't take the heat... well, you know what to do. He has worked hard to give something away, I think the least we can do is be polite.

I used to work the early morning breakfast shift at a restaurant during my high school and college days. I had to be there for 4:30 in the morning, but I was done by 1pm and could spend the afternoon golfing (or napping).

Since then, I have developed a little rule about getting up before the sun: DON'T!

 

wow..would be nice to be off at 1pm. Im usually home by 4.30pm

 

I also used to take naps between orders until about 6am or so.
