OK, you got it. But now I'm taking it away because you can't read what's right in front of your face :D

OK, I just made my first FS post here. Question....if I can't edit my thread after 24 hours and I can't reply to with it with updates on what's been sold...I guess I'm outta luck, eh? I just have to tell people that PM me that it's sold. Sorry, just trying to drive home my point so don't kill me Doug. LOL I do appreciate being able to list stuff here! :)

Actually no you're not out of luck. The process is quite simple and it's been explained many times. If you sell what you advertise all you need to do is send PM to any mod and ask them to mark you item/items as SOLD.

And while many, many people over the years have brought up the same question as you - I have yet to ever hear of one who actually experienced the problem of receiving multiple PMs inquiring after an item that has already been sold. In other words it's kind of like worrying about something that's never happened.

I don't see why you guys are so resistant to adopting models that have been highly successful elsewhere.

Simple - because they have not been successful HERE ! We tried them for several years.

So that means we should never ever try again?

No, but when what you have tried previously relies on human nature to be successful - do you really think it's very smart to try the same thing again ? Especially after repeated failures ?

We'd rather try something that might actually work. Which is what we are doing ;)
