You can't be serious.

The only historical aspect this thread has with regard to CoinTalk is that its simply another in a long line of threads posted by enthusiastic, new, yet uninformed newbies who are convinced that they've come up with a new way to slice bread.

The entire purpose "behind" CoinTalk is to "share" information and learn about numismatics and coins. A self attributed "University" by someone that has about 10 years worth of experience that is still lacking, is simply not needed.

What would be very helpful and could very well be used is a detailed explanation of the "Search" Mechanism. That way, when a question did come up, those that seek satisfaction for their curiosity could do a search on the subject.

You are right about the university not being needed. That's why it didn't happen.
