How is he allowed to grade coins if he's abrasive? Wouldn't that leave scratches on coins?

 

Ya' know when people complain to me about, "It's not WHAT you say, it's HOW you say it"? When I read that, I'm all like, "Good, you got my intent." It's so difficult to get just the correct amount of contempt to come through in plain text, ya' know?

 

Either the TPGs will have to find a new revenue stream or standards will continue to grow even more lenient until an entirely new system must be implemented.

This is what happens when folks allow for-profit entities to control their hobby.

You know that all my posts have at least a pinch of truth AND a pinch of snark, right? We have to laugh in this hobby. If we took it all so seriously, we'd be nutballs.

 

Like copy machine. Scan coin. Machine will spit out slabs and stickers.

 

You skipped a step.

Explain to everyone nearby what a "coin" once was and what it was used for.

 

Rather like trying to make my grandkids understand how cool it was to spin records.
