Only eight days to go. My lady want's me out of the house. I started packing a bag incase I need to leave early before she kills me. I'm kidding but we both look forward to this show.

 

I'm driving down and plan on leaving Saturday. Hopefully we don't get too much snow on Thursday and Friday.

Anyone else having travel concerns? I'm supposed to fly out Wednesday but that's starting to look iffy. The airports out of Chicago are still trying to recover from the last round of cancellations and another major storm is headed our way. Extreme cold to follow. A high of -12 and a low of -17 Monday and about the same for Tuesday, then more snow afterwards. Planes are grounded at other locations and can't get here for new flights to originate. Not the best outlook for travel. I wonder how this will affect dealer participation at the convention as well?

 

I moved my departure back a day to Sunday (tomorrow) Sam. Things should be better then. It's supposed to warm up a bit before the temps plunge again........

 

Well, I've moved things farther, farther back. I've decided to take the train down (Wednesday) and have booked a hotel room in the vicinity. Can't wait.......

I should arrive at the convention center area on Friday January 10th. I'll probably make it to the show for a few hours Friday & plan to spend all day Saturday at the show. I'll have a car.
If anyone wants to get together for drinks and/or dinner Friday January 10th, there are many local places we could meet. Saturday night might be another option for me.
