I start this same thread each year as a way for folks to get together at the show. Let us know if you plan to be there. I know dealers don't have table numbers yet but hope they will post them, when possible. As we get close to show time, I'll build a list of members, dealers and events that should be helpful. It's going to be a really great show. Hope you can make it. This link has a lot of good information. http://www.funtopics.com/fun-convention.html These folks work really hard to make things better and better each year.
I got a girls number! LOL I'm about to graduate in May, so I'm for sure trying to find time to make it to a major show in the Summer of 2020
The FUN Show in January has about 1,500 dealers, but the summer FUN Show in July only has about one-third that many dealers. Chris
Hey, if someone were to arrange a get-together, would y'all prefer Thursday or Friday afternoon? I know that Friday is busier, but I'm thinking more people may be there.
I am going, my 1st time @ FUN. In fact, my first time at any coin show other than the small local ones (30-40 dealers, tops). I hope to walk the bourse floor with some of you and hope we can do dinner/lunch/coffee during down times.
I'm not surprised. For me, coming from NY, it's a nice change-of-pace to go to Florida in January and escape the cold. It's why I am going to spend $1,000 on travel and other expenses before I even buy ANYTHING at the show. I have minimal interest in going to Orlando in the Summer either for FUN or to sit in lines at DisneyWorld or Universal in the July heat.
I'm getting there Thursday night, so I'm good for anything you guys set up for us CoinTalk newbies. Looking forward to seeing you guys after years of only communicating in cyberspace.
I should be able to make it on time this year, with everything happening on the 9th........I drive the RV very slow, and tend to do under 300 miles a day. The wife hates it when I go past 4 o'clock in the afternoon without stopping. Gotta please the dear Lady......
Unfortunately, I will probably only be there for the day on Saturday. I do hope that I will be able to meet some of you. Chris
Sure, I'll meet with CT members every day if people are up to it. So if you and others won't be there multiple days, no sweat. Let's just make sure all our contact information or initial meeting hook-up is set as we approach January.
