These are all great ideas and plans! Putting faces to names, so to speak. I had made reservations at Delmonico’s by the convention center, but they ended up canceling due to water issues, so, ended up at Vito’s. A good, and expensive meal, only tainted by a waitstaff that would t leave us alone…… I know some folks love that, but since I’m a cantankerous curmudgeon, I would prefer to offer my meal, and I’ll let you know if I need something…..anyhow, I digress! I hoped to see a few folks at Delmonicos, it just wasn’t meant to be.

I never tried the steakhouse in the Rosen Centre but did get to Vines, which used to have Arnold Palmer stop by regularly and has a private room with his name on it. Maybe he was a part-owner, my host would know. Never saw Delmonicos but would love to go there next time.

As far as meeting up at future FUNs: it's not that difficult, especially if you are in the same hotel. Then you can go down to the bar and talk for 15 minutes or 3 hours. Logistics are a bit more difficult if you're in different hotels, but if someone has a car and/or with Uber, it's not a huge obstacle. Can always walk it if you don't mind (I think the distances are 0.5 to 1 mile).

Meet-and-greet, hanging out, and a dinner are all feasible...we just need the bodies.
