But not exactly.. Sorry you don't have the Big One! Look at the rest of the doubling on the true 1969 Doubled Die. It has to match. Look at the B in LIBERTY.. Does yours look like it?

Thanks for the link. That site is very informative. Great images of dies and machinery!

Why is that. Is it because they use the obverse die from year to year. Duh caught myself. Years change. Ok why mint marks separate in process. Or are all dies made in philly.

Can we start and English class on here? Or a grammar class? Or a typing class? Or all three?

Let's start by removing the "d" at the end of your 4th word as a proofreading exercise.

Pervain gold. Found only in one place. The so called counrty of pervain. And in the bible it is written down to the oz. How much covered the smitten wood along with the yellow gold and plates flatwear. And Is all listed.

Its what kind of gold the menorah is made of. (The lamp stand). Along with the Pagan goddess Freya necklace that held the Yellowstone. But anyway

The coin in the 2x2 in your pic from post #31 is a copper plated zinc Lincoln cent that was subjected to temps above the melting point of zinc (approx. 800F) and below the melting point of copper (approx. 1975F). You can barely make out the Lincoln Memorial. I got in trouble as a kid when I did this on our gas stove and dripped molten zinc on the surface.

Red gold is just naturally alloyed with copper

No idea what the rest of your ramblings are supposed to represent.

Thanks @beef1020 for your explanation. I finally understand those terms. And @paddyman98 for the pics. It's clear that the OPs coin is not. Just newbie anxiety.

At that time all dies were made at Philly. Today Philly makes all the master dies and hubs. Denver makes their own working hubs and dies, Philly makes everything else.
