Worst one ever I’ll sometimes carry coins in my pocket to wear off cleaning or some other problems. You might lose a grade but a couple months in the pocket and a couple years in a paper envelope make for a decent looking coin. Well I was doing that with a 1795 small eagle dollar that had some black spots all over it and I realized I couldn’t find it. Looked all over and didn’t see it. A couple weeks later I found it in an industrial laundromat dryer it was still in my pants despite my looking. The rims were more beat up but otherwise was not bad. Still it would have been a lot better without being in there
