Yes. If there are contact marks on her face and they are frosty, then it has been played with. Any contact marks should be shiny.
I just checked on Vamworld and it said the discovery piece was an ANACS AU53. This may be the discovery piece which would add to it's desirability.
What if it was more of a perpendicular hit that pushes the metal inwards, as opposed to a relatively more parallel hit or scratch? Although, I'm sure that the example in question is more of a parallel hit.
@Johndoe2000$ go ahead and declare a winner as it looks like we have some new interest in this thread!
Okay... the "REAL" reveal... I believe P&G wins it, although damaged was a vague description, he was closest to price, and grade was correct. Price sold for-$2285 on EBAY. @Pickin and Grinin is up. P.S. I'll refrain from joke reveals in the future. but, this thread needs some life breathed into it.

Maybe? I personally didn't know much about the coin and just guessed on the price. Also the photos leave me uncertain; based on them I was fairly confident it was UNC. So either the coin looks worse in hand or PCGS punished it too harshly.
That's some serious money for a details coin, I didn't think that I would be the lowest bidder? The high points should show more of the scratch in my opinion.
Same as usual for the coin above: price? details or not? reason? grade? (no number, just F, VF, XF, AU, UNC etc...)
