Since it was delisted a while back I haven't heard alot about it. I wonder every time I flip past mine, •°does the 1980 D over Shadow S still carry any sort of value or is it now a simple die chip classification or whatever the shadow S has been reduced to°•. Just curious , not sure what to do with it Screenshot_20190520-083501.png Screenshot_20190520-083441.png IMG_20190520_083107.jpg Screenshot_20190520-083604.png , it has no category at the momenr.

    Delisted?

What's cool is there appears to be a larger backwards LIBERTY (or TRVST) at an angle above the date at the same angle as the "S".

Actually, what looked like the damage to the bowtie made me realize there's "Letter" looking stuff on the shoulder and in the flat field area above the date. Also at the bottom front of the bust too.

But that was all a casual observance that just stuck out upon initial glance. The images seem a bit too pixelated to zoom in at least on my computer to inspect it. And pixelated stuff makes ppl see things ...

Ya, I just took a couple quik shots to go with the post, it's inside of a cardboard/plastic case to so that would explain some distortion

To the Left of the Bowtie seems to be more words .... this is a higher point than the lower field area, thus taking more "pressure"

But It's too early in the morning for my brain

but I'm gonna guess your "S" is part of this and the letters above the date kinda squeezed on to it very, very lightly .. like a "shadow"

like an upside down S Dime seems to fit.
images still too pixelated to make much sense.

Ya, it's attributed to die chips, was remover from the omm lists a while back.

Those are actually worse photos The die chip looking S is definitely visible in the first photos. I think that it is a little early for you Claw. if you were thinking a clash of some sort. It would not be present on the recessed areas of the die. I think we are seeing this on Lincolns jacket. Letter transfer from a Whittman folder. IMG_3458.JPG
I have seen a few of these over the years even after the delisting.
I would imagine a small premium but not the price they sold for when they were listed as a D/S.

It is .. my eyes haven't woken up. Everything is still fuzzy with my glasses on. Seeing the squiggly worms all over the wall is proof of that, much less looking at pixelated coin images.

You asked when you posted your photos. Sorry to spoil your overactive imagination, which includes believing you have thing other than a damaged coin, or that you can control what others say online.

No, you're wrong, I asked what happened to the value of them after they were delisted, you're wrong twice dude. I don't really care either way but , you can call it what u like , you'll get the hang of things one day . Best of luck guy. Screenshot_20190520-121257.png Screenshot_20190520-121245.png

I’ll tell you what happened: pareidolia. And the only thing wrong is you thinking you’ve somehow schooled me on something.
