I’ll throw in another monkeywrench. The curl on the bottom of the displaced numeral looks like a “3” to me. I am throwing 1936 into the mix.
Never really occurred to me how soft copper is until I joined CT. And how odd some of the displaced dates and verbiage can be. I decided I gotta have a “Liberyy” cent.
I would say 1946. The curl at the bottom is the displaced metal I believe, if you look close you can see the top of the 4.
The 3 in the 30's did not look that way, the 6 reminds off a 46 this year it was common for it to be very weak, if almost non existent. It is a 4
