    I believe it's listed in the Criterion™ collection of 'recommended' movies!
    If you are a fan of old B&W movies, like myself, It's a definitely SEE.

    After being inspired by this thread I went out and got a copy of "The Count of Monte Cristo" (the 1846 English translation).

    I finally finished reading the 1,100 page book.

    The book has many period numismatic refrences; old coins including Tuscan livres, guineas English, piastres, francs, louis d'ors, crowns, and Napoleons.

    A French Louis d'Or:
