See Matt, here is the problem. I couldn't have your job. Here is what would happen if I did:

1. Get paycheck
2. Buy coins with entirety of paycheck
3. Go home
4. Wife Get Angry
5. Repeat #1-4 every pay cycle
6. Wife divorces me
7. Wife gets alimony check
8. Paycheck garnished
9. No more money to buy coins

You're job would ruin me.

 

That is exactly why I can't collect any more... or if I do it has to be something obscure that we don't see all the time.

Same customer came back in with more from the estate.

EDIT: If you get them graded let us know what they grade please. They look to be very high grade from the photos.

Actually, I would think being a successful dealer would be better than a simple collector. Although, you don't hold onto stuff for long, you get to see alot of great coins over time. And you get paid to play with coins all day.

I'm loving that 1861.on top of the pile!! Usually when someone brings me gold coins it's just one but then I'm not known as a coin dealer just an antique dealer who occasionally buys and sells coins (so they think) buys yup sells just lower end stuff I don't collect
