Also the word "Alleged" has been added to Restrike. Two major changes this year.

In the 21st Edition (1968) the term "restrike" was added to the Open 3 variety, meaning the coins were struck at some later date after 1873. Adding the word Alleged for the 2015, 68th Edition signifies the changing belief that addition pieces were struck at some later date. 1873 was the year that the 2 cent piece was discontinued effective April 1st that year so asking why the previously reported mintage of 500 restrikes is a valid question.
