*shrug* This is why I said everyone should verify that the person is still interested before sending it out. Also, if Werty says he's not sending it due to a lack of funds to pay postage, I really believe we should also verify that the receiving party has the $4 and change (give or take) needed to mail it.

 

When I let werty know it was ready to be sent and I needed and addy his reply was that he was looking forward to getting the note

Well, then let's give them the benefit of the doubt, for now, since they responded positively. We've vandalized the note enough that no coin store would buy it... and most stores would think it's a counterfeit.

oh yeah.. :/ maybe send him a note reminding him about it? to the exact PO box?

 

Perhaps admin has a street address and would consider reaching out with a letter, delivery confirmed, which I don't think you can do with a p o box. What state? If it is Michigan, I volunteer to take a road trip ..

 

Even with a PO box, you can get confirmation of delivery and signature service. But those things are no good if the addressee fails or refuses to respond to your letter.
