My newest addition was a Russia Platinum Proof 1992 150 Roubles, which is a beautifull coin, but I really like the coins struck before 1918. However, if I see a post 1992 coin that is appealing, then I will get it:happy: We here all have diverse collecting themes....which is great. I like seeing everyones coin posts:happy:

I just looked up that coin. It is less than 1/30th ounce. How big is it? Must be much smaller than a 1/10th AGE.

Esp. that these were struck in 1700! The mintmasters/ master engravers, that were employed at the Imperial Mints throughout the Holy Roman Empire did outstanding work. Most of the coinages from 1500-1770 went all the way from one extreme to another....1/32/1/16/1/8/1/4/1/2/ 1/2/5/10/20/30/50 sometimes 100 Dukaten. So from massive 350g. coins down to teeny-weenie 0.11g.

Given that it is no longer the longest reign I am not so sure. :)
But given that I have this 1897 coin I will accept it.

I checked the rules (post #1) and there is nothing to say I have to wait for someone else to post. So I am going to get this one in while I can.
