1995 Slovenia 2 tolarja (is that the same country?)

 

Nope but don't feel bad. Apparently they get mixed up by all sorts of folks - including diplomats and national leaders. See this article from the BBC - https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-43419675.

 

I would think we need something from Slovakia (Czechoslovakia should be acceptable, yes?) or 2002. I'd gladly do it but I think that'd be against the rules since I entered the 2002 Slovakian coin.

 

OK, I am the one who messed it up initially, so here is a 1943 Bohemia and Moravia 1 koruna. Area is now in Czech Republic.

 

India - 1/4 Rupee, 1943

 

Still 1943 but back to Bohemia and Moravia with this messed up zinc 10-haleru (KM 1).

 

Another zinker, Germany 1943 A 1 pfennig

 

1935-A Germany 5 marks

 

Canoeing it is, 1936 Canada dollar

 

Canada 1923 Cent

 

Still in Canada (canoeing sounds like great fun at this moment!) but with modern 2016 dollar (KM 2102).

How about a 1920 Canadian small cent? I've always been more a kayaking kind of guy, but at this point, canoeing sounds like a great way to get out of the house!

 

1935 Canada small cent

 

I rather like Canadian one cents. Check this one out. I'm not so hot seeing doubling and other errors, unless they simply scream out. But this 1929 cent (KM 28) appears even to me to have something funky about it. For example, compare "CANADA" or the leaves on the reverse with Coinsandmedals's or coin_nut's one cent; see how close to the rim it is? Even on the obverse, the legend is almost touching the rim, whereas on Coinsandmedals's or coin_nut's, the legend is a goodly distance from the rim.

 

I fell in love with the Canada large cents some time ago, and have collected nearly all of them. Here is a 1936 Newfoundland one cent.
