1940 Italy 1 lira. Some of these I may have posted before in this thread, I am not checking. They look good and fit in with what we are doing, so I go with it. The Italians in the 20s, as well as the French and yes, the Americans, put out some really artistic looking coins.

 

I concur, Ed! Is there any story behind that Great Britain 25-euro pattern? Completely new to me.

I'll keep us in Italy. Nothing as nice as y'all have but I like it. An 1863 10-centesimi (KM 11.2).
