    Khoqand Khanate Tenga, 1283AH (1866). Khoqand existed from 1709–1876 within the territory of eastern Uzbekistan, modern Kyrgyzstan, eastern Tajikistan and southeastern Kazakhstan.

    I had to look at a map to make sure but the Qarakhanid Khanate (right) overlapped the Khoqand Khanate (left). Wikipedia says the Qarakhanids are now part of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

    This coin was officially minted by the VOC in Batavia but there are theories (who knows how true they are) that a second batch of these 1/2 Stuiver coins were illicitly minted, perhaps in Ceylon.
