    Right on! My coin was struck at the Neuva Guatamala Mint. I am trying to get a MS-63/64 from San Jose Mint/ CR.

    Honduras, 1858 8-reales. The opposite side of the spectrum from @panzerman's coin... . Honduras was a former member of the Central American Republic in 1858. Not sure if Honduras could afford gold then. This coin is a copper-lead alloy. Maybe they couldn't afford copper too.

    Amazing example! I have yet to get a Kelantan Pitis but I absolutely love the clear date and the double sided design which is quite uncommon in the tin sultanate coins.
