NGC MS63RB. It is just a bad photo, think I grabbed it out of a test folder that I was playing around with colour balance & contrast settings.

Still Danzig 1923 next I believe....

Is the Somali Guitar photo a mistake? I couldn't find a reference to Danzig with any of them (though a famous racehorse sire went by that name).

If so, here is a 1923

If it was supposed to be Somali

Think I've posted my one and only Somalia coin already, so I choose USA,

Have you ever wondered what the little thingies are in the eagle's feathers? They are the Coat of Arms of Astrakhen, Siberia, Georgia, Finland, Kiev-Vladimir-Novgorod, Taurica, Poland and Kazan (seen clockwise).

that's pretty cool with the eagle feathers. kind of remind of the the italy 500 lire coin with all the coat of arms around the obverse.

Wow! Is that a proof? What a beautiful young Vickie!

@chrsmat71 - I think you made a typo, since your Russian coin is from 1735, but that's OK, since I'll play from "Russia" rather than the date. :)

    Russia or 1780, next.

We cannot be on 1780 and not play a Maria Theresa! One of the many restrikes I have of this coin, which I collect just like bullion rounds.

According to Wiki, the following mints have struck MTTs: Birmingham, Bombay, Brussels, London, Paris, Rome and Utrecht, in addition to the Habsburg mints in Günzburg, Hall, Karlsburg, Kremnica, Milan, Prague, and Vienna.

We need a country & date to play coin UNO. :) May I choose Austria?

Austria seems to like restrikes. Here is another.

Austria, 1915, 4 Ducat. This huge, 40mm, coin is less than half an ounce of 98.6% fine gold.

Collective coin seems to be acting a bit tricky. See if this works:

It's Albania. The set is 1969. The middle coin (10 Leke) also has 1468-1968 as this is honoring the 500th year anniversary of the year of the death of Prince Skanderbeg.

Next, Albania :), 1468, 1968, 1969 (going by the 10 leke coin). Edited to add--go ahead and add in 1944 as I just noticed it's in the seal on the reverse (establishment of the Socialist government, now superseded).

I've probably already posted this one, too, but I don't keep track like some of our more meticulous posters do, and no doubt repeat myself occasionally. (Which I figure is OK, if there's a wide enough interval between reruns, right?)

Japan or 1868 or 1869, next.

    Japan (Meiji Era): gold/electrum Nibu-Kin (2 bu), ca. 1868-1869
