A little more modern 1975 Proof 100 Pesetas. A little toning on the obverse even though still sealed in mint plastic.

Spain going back a few years. To the Charles claim on the throne, 1708. Off center and worn, yet kind of neat!

Lovely coin, I love the older Japanese pieces.

Here is mine: 50 sen 1916 (year 5), cracked from an old PCI photo slab :)

Wowzers!!! I think PCI might have undergraded that one one. Perhaps it's from the era when toning might ding a grade? (Was there an era like that????)

I think this was the next play coin, but to make it a bit easier...here is the slightly bigger sibling to the 5 sen I posted. This one is a 10 sen, also Japan and also 1876/M.9:

Here, can me quoting the out of order post work to put us back in order? If so, then GB and 1876 are in play...and I don't have a picture of any of my other 1876 Japanese coins or GB coins handy (except a conder and I've been posting too many of them and I may have used all my dated ones).

I felt it was undergraded as well. Based on the photo on the slab, the coin looks like it was blast white when it went in. I think this was just the era well before market grading when the rules and opinions were much tighter.

And another stunning coin right there. I need to go photograph the rest of my Japanese material :)
